Michaela obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree with distinction from the University of Guelph, where she majored in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and minored in Family and Child Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University in 2016.
While at law school, Michaela served as a caseworker at the Queen’s Family Law Clinic, providing legal services to the community of Kingston. Michaela was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. Michaela completed her articles with a prominent family law firm in Toronto, where she continued to spend the first two years of her legal career.
